TIMBER RIDGE ESCAPES

Privacy, simply.

This website introduces our cottage, helps you prepare a direct booking request, and links to Airbnb and Vrbo. It does not accept payments, create guest accounts or automatically confirm reservations.

Direct booking requests

The direct booking form uses your requested dates, guest count, name, email address and optional message to prepare an email on your device. Preparing the request does not send it to us or reserve any dates. You choose whether to open your email app or copy the message, then send it yourself. Our website code does not store these entries or send them to a server. Your browser or email provider may save autofill information or drafts according to your own settings.

Calendar and estimates

The calendar and price calculator run on your device. When calendar feeds are connected, our hosting service reads the private Airbnb and Vrbo calendar exports and returns only blocked date ranges and a last-checked time. Guest names, booking details and private calendar links are not included in the public calendar. Your selected dates are not sent to those platforms by the direct-booking calendar. Nightly rates are maintained by the hosts; estimates do not create a reservation.

Choosing dates on Airbnb

When you submit the Airbnb availability form, the dates and adult guest count you choose are passed to Airbnb so you can check your stay. Add or adjust children and pets on Airbnb. The website itself does not store your form entries.

Contacting us

Email links open your email application. If you send an enquiry, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to respond about your stay. Please avoid sending payment card information or identity documents by email.

Payments

Booking and payment arrangements are discussed privately after we confirm availability and your quote. This website does not collect payment details or banking credentials, initiate transfers or verify payments.

Other websites

Airbnb, Vrbo, Google Maps and any linked social platforms operate separately and have their own privacy policies. Website hosting providers may process basic technical information, including IP addresses and server logs, to deliver and protect the site.

Cookies and analytics

This version of the website does not include advertising pixels, marketing analytics or cookies set by its own code.
